Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: STEREO A
Event Time: 2023-02-20T08:58Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: IMPACT
STEREO A: PLASTIC
Activity ID: 2023-02-20T08:58:00-IPS-001 (version 3)
Quality of ICME Signature: 1 (lacks some signatures)
Note: The (likely CME) arrival possibly happens overnight, during the large STEREO data gap (2023-02-20T00Z to 2023-02-20T09Z) but this likely arrival is indicated by the increase in total magnetic field, measuring 13nT at 2023-02-20T09Z after the end of the data gap, and an increase in solar wind speed from under 400 km/s to over 550 km/s. Indeed, there are indications (sharp increase in lower energy proton and electron fluxes at STEREO A) that the arrival happened close to the start of the data gap, near 2023-02-20T00Z).
